About USWelcome to the Great Lakes Youth Football Classic, a Michigan based local, regional and national youth sports events company founded in November 2009. The GLYFC provides fun and competitive youth sports tournaments and events for ALL KIDS...big kids, little kids, tall kids, short kids, young kids, older kids...kids.
Our youth sports events division was created to promote the interest in and the growth of youth football sports competition, outside of the traditional league and association play box in a fun, competitive, positive atmosphere, where programs can see how they stack up against local, regional and national teams and measure the success and growth of their youth and middle school football programs.
The GLYFC was derived from the Youth Sports Alliance, Youth Football Tournament Classic now known as the new and improved Great Lakes Youth Football Classic. The Great Lakes Youth Football Classic experience will give teams a different tournament experience than from its predecessor, in the best interest of youth football competition and team improvement.
Our tournaments and events are operated by the organization tournament committee consisting of coaches, community individuals and business professionals abroad. The tournament committee under the leadership of the tournament President, plans, organizes and oversees all operations of the tournament division.
The Great Lakes Youth Football Classic is not a state based championship tournament. It is a true league and school team based event that focuses on bringing teams together on a local, regional and national level, with an emphasis on allowing teams to play teams they would never play during the course of there league play seasons.
The purpose of the Great Lakes Youth Football Classic shall be to promote and establish the highest standards in youth football competition, creating a fun, friendly and competitive atomsophere that is good for its youth participants and the sport of football.
